Family Crisis Services

Family Crisis Services (FCS) is a victim service and family support organization that helps both children and adults suffering in the aftermath of violent crimes such as homicide and sexual assault. Additionally, they provide family support services for all in our community and serve as the Child Advocacy Center for victims of abuse. Last year alone, they served 61 victims of crime, providing them with a safe place to receive advocacy and counseling services. FCS also holds community events, such as the Halloween Spooktacular, and the Party in the Park, to inform the community about available resources, and raise awareness of issues of abuse.

Volunteer Opportunities: Support groups, counseling, education and tutoring, fundraising, crisis intervention, host-family activities, marketing/PR, special projects, volunteer training and prevention education.
