FY 2018-2019 Funded Programs

The United Way of Oxford & Lafayette County (UWOLC) awarded grant funds totaling $305,000 for fiscal year (FY) 2018-2019. The funded programs and community coalitions improve lives by promoting good health, quality education, and stable incomes. The UWOLC's Community Impact Committee and advisory committees, which include members of the UWOLC Board of Directors as well as other community volunteers, are responsible for reviewing grant applications on an annual basis and making award recommendations. Members assess applications using a consistent set of criteria and are charged with investing our donors' contributions in ways that will best advance the common good. The five advisory committees correspond to the UWOLC's four focus areas (health, education, basic needs, and financial stability) as well as a separate committee for community coalitions.
