FY 2017-2018 Funded Programs

In 2017-2018, the United Way of Oxford & Lafayette County (UWOLC) awarded program grants totaling $330,000. The funded programs improve lives by promoting good health, quality education, and stable incomes. The UWOLC's Community Investment Committee, which includes members of the UWOLC Board of Directors as well as other community volunteers, is responsible for reviewing applications and recommending program awards. Members assess all applications using a consistent set of criteria and are charged with investing our donors' contributions in ways that will best advance the common good. In addition to our program grants, UWOLC funds and staffs several mission-driven coalitions and invests in a small set of other community impact efforts. These initiatives are also listed below:
