North Central MS Service Center of the American Red Cross

Provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies through services that are consistent with its congressional charter and the fundamental principles of the International Red Cross movement. United Way funds pay for all aspects of Red Cross services from personnel, to supplies, financial assistance and facility costs.

Volunteer Opportunities: Computer assistance, counseling, disaster response, education, fundraising, newsletter/publicity, office work, and volunteer training.
